About PlateMate
PlateMate is a pair of portable force plates for jump analysis, isometric strength testing, balance and movement assessment. Each plate samples at 960 Hz with 0.15 N precision and takes up to 4 000 kg (1 000 kg per load cell), on a 12 mm anodised aluminium top with adjustable anti-slip feet — 9.8 kg and 50 × 35 × 8 cm per plate.
The test library covers countermovement, rebound, squat, drop and pogo jumps, each on two legs or one, plus balance via centre of pressure, isometric tests you define yourself in the cloud, and a live force-curve with left/right feedback for any movement on the plates.
Every test calculates 200+ metrics: jump height, flight time, peak force, rate of force development, RSI, net impulse, takeoff velocity, centre-of-pressure area and more, each reported per leg with symmetry indices so imbalances show up in the numbers.
Power and data run over a single USB cable straight into the ForceMate software on Windows or macOS, ready to test in seconds. A wireless module is available separately for Bluetooth and iPad use, and open USB and Bluetooth protocols plus API access let you export data to external systems.
You pay once and own it. ForceMate software and Cloud are included, updates are free for life, and your data belongs to you. Externally validated against gold-standard laboratory force plates, hand-assembled in Denmark, and covered by a two-year warranty.
Set up in minutes. Testing in seconds.
-
Step 1 Place the plates
Set the two plates on any flat floor and plug in. No fixed install, no calibration lab — they're ready where you are.
-
Step 2 Open the app
Launch ForceMate, pick a test — countermovement jump, drop jump, isometric — and hand the athlete the cue.
-
Step 3 Run the test
The athlete steps on and jumps. The plates capture ground reaction force hundreds of times a second.
-
Step 4 Read the results
Jump height, left/right asymmetry, RFD and more land on screen in seconds — ready to act on.

Externally Validated
PlateMate has been compared to golden-standard AMTI force plates, validity-tested against the MyJump app, and internally compared to Vald ForceDecks.
Versatility
Every test type, on one set of plates
Jump, isometric, balance and movement testing — all on the same two plates. Every jump and balance test also runs as a single-leg variation, while isometric testing has unlimited test types as you define your own variants in the cloud.
What you can actually measure
PlateMate is a dual force plate system built around portable force plates — light enough to test anywhere, accurate enough for the lab. It measures ground reaction force hundreds of times a second, so one set of force plates replaces a rack of sports performance testing equipment — a whole shelf of sports science equipment — and gives you a full neuromuscular profile in seconds.
-
Jump Height
Measure jump height by flight time or net impulse.
-
Peak Force
Get data on the maximum force generated in the test.
-
RFD
How quickly you can build up force — essentially the explosiveness.
-
RSI
Measures the ability to quickly switch from landing to jumping.
-
Left/Right Symmetry
Compares left and right leg. Useful for spotting imbalances.
-
200+ total metrics
